IVL’s subsidiary Basta is working to phase out hazardous substances from building- and construction products. Today, almost 500 Swedish and international manufacturers are connected to the system and the database contains over 170,000 building- and construction products that meet Basta’s high environmental requirements.

New group for products that contain Electronics

To be able to register products in Basta a knowledge of the complete content information is required. The information required need to be at the component level, ie for each item that a complex article/object consists of (cf Article 33 of REACH).

A new function on BASTAs search page

BASTA introduce a new group – DECLARED!

From 15 June, products that meet the DECLARED level and do not meet all the requirements of the BASTA or BETA level can be registered.

New version of the Excel import

A new group, DECLARED, has been introduced on 15 June.  As a result, the Excel file for importing items has been updated. The version that applies is 2.0 and it is available on the document page as well as on the company page.

New group in Basta – DECLARED

Bastas users have indicated/signaled that they miss and have a need of information regarding products which do not meet all the requirements at the BASTA or BETA level and therefore cannot be registered in the system.
