The requirements in the criteria have not been changed during this update.

The following editorial updates have been made:

• The criteria documents for BASTA, BETA and DECLARED have been merged into the same document
• The criteria has been clarified and re-written
• Information from relevant supporting documents have been added to the criteria document
• The criteria have got new numbering, an overview of the difference between the old and new numbering can be found here: Overview numbering of criteria
• The criteria from the optional criteria areas; Circularity, Renewability, Environmental effects, Emissions and tests, have been added to the document as well

The above described updates have been performed in conjunction with the launch of a new web page and improved criteria visualization, more information can be found in the following news.
