EU - Substances of Very high Concern (SVHC)

Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) are chemical substances identified under the EU REACH Regulation as being of particular concern to health and the environment, such as carcinogenicity, reproductive toxicity or persistence. These substances are included in the Candidate List and may be subject to information requirements, restrictions or authorisation requirements in order to be phased out or controlled.

SVHC are regulated in Articles 57 and 59 of the EU REACH Chemicals Regulation (EC No 1907/2006).

EU - Substances of Very high Concern (SVHC)

The requirement includes the phasing out of hazardous substances found in the legislation This is checked in the BASTA system by checking whether the product does not contain substances classified as SVHC in concentrations above their classification limits.

H1.A, H1.C, H1.E, H2.A, H2.B, H3.A, H3.B, H11.A
