M1 Absence of environmental toxins (prerequisite)

The requirement includes the phasing out of hazardous substances found on the candidate list.

Data on this can be found in BASTA's criteria area Health and environmental hazards, if an assessment against BASTA's criteria has been carried out, the assessment is used to show compliance on the article card.

M2 EPD for construction products (1 point)

The requirement requires that there be an environmental product declaration for the product.

Data on this can be found in BASTA's criteria area Environmental effects EPD, if data has been provided, this is used to show compliance on the item card.
