We interviewed Valerio Ruggeri, Technical Manager at Bossong S.p.A., about how they use BASTA in their operations.

Tell me about yourself and your role at Bossong

- I am Valerio Ruggeri, a civil engineer, and I have been working at Bossong since 2006. Bossong is specializes in the production of chemical anchors for the construction industry. I’m part of a dedicated and highly skilled team, whose collaboration and expertise are essential to achieving our objectives and supporting continuous innovation within the company.

How is Bossong using the BASTA system?

- It is important to us that our products are recognized as safe for both the user and the environment. For this reason, for over thirty years we have been producing styrene-free chemical anchors at our factory in Grassobbio, Italy. Registering with the BASTA system means that our environmental commitment is acknowledged, because the environmental responsibility is increasingly demanded, especially in the construction industry.

Are you using your BASTA-registration for other markets (than the Swedish market) as well?

- We have promoted our BASTA registration on our LinkedIn channel, adding the logo to the product technical data sheets and in the catalog, because we believe that our worldwide customers appreciate this recognition as a concrete commitment that Bossong is making towards the environment. For this reason, we want the BASTA system to be more than just something related to the Swedish market — it should be recognized as an added value for the safety of our products by customers in Italy and other countries as well.
