What is the Butterfly?

Byggkeramikrådet’s sustainability labelling – the Butterfly – helps the industry identify products with low levels of substances hazardous to health and the environment. It marks ceramic products and related materials that meet strict chemical requirements, supporting a healthier indoor environment and more sustainable construction.

The butterfly serves as a support for both clients and regulators as well as contractors and tilers in the work of making conscious and responsible material choices.
