Partners

Who does BASTA collaborate with?

We collaborate with a range of actors across the construction and civil engineering sector to simplify access to sustainability information. These collaborations include information exchange, system integrations, and other connections between systems. Read more about each partner below.

CCBuild - Centrum för cirkulärt byggande

The Centre for Circular Building is the construction sector’s platform and meeting place for circular construction. It provides training in circular construction, networking opportunities, local forums for knowledge sharing, and digital tools that support and promote circularity.

As a logbook user, you can add products from CCBuild’s public marketplace directly to your logbook. If your organisation has an internal marketplace within CCBuild, you can also search for products from your own organisation and add them to the logbook.

eBVD

Through the digital integration between eBVD and BASTA, the complete eBVD is displayed directly on product cards in the BASTA system whenever a match exists between products in the two systems. Matching is based either on the product’s GTIN or on the supplier entering the eBVD ID in BASTA.

The product card in BASTA displays all information contained in the eBVD, including the product’s chemical content, raw materials, distribution, and construction stage information. This means that users can access the entire linked eBVD directly from the product page in BASTA.

Byggkatalogen (Svensk Byggtjänst)

BASTA and Byggkatalogen are connected through an integration that enables linking between company information in the two systems. This provides users with easy access to complementary information from both services.

Byggfakta DOCU

BASTA and ByggfaktaDOCU have established mutual linking between their systems. Companies can link to their ByggfaktaDOCU catalogue from their company and product cards in BASTA, while ByggfaktaDOCU provides links back to the corresponding company profiles in BASTA.

Finfo

FINFO uses the BASTA system to continuously retrieve data on new environmental assessments and match these updates against its own database. Information from the BASTA system is then distributed to FINFO’s subscribers through their chosen distribution channels. This helps building material merchants display environmental information about products both in physical stores and on digital platforms.

FINFO operates Sweden’s largest database of product information for building materials. By integrating BASTA data, FINFO can ensure that its customers have access to up-to-date and reliable information on the environmental performance of construction products.

HBV

HBV serves as the procurement function for Sweden’s municipal housing companies and conducts coordinated procurements of goods and services related to construction, renovation, and property management.

HBV uses the BASTA system to compare invoiced products against BASTA’s database. This enables HBV to monitor how many assessed products have been purchased under its framework agreements. By using the BASTA system, HBV can help ensure that procured products meet environmental requirements and contribute to more sustainable construction projects.
