What is BREEAM-NOR?
BREEAM-NOR is the Norwegian version of the British environmental certification system BREEAM for buildings and is managed by Grønn Byggallianse. A building is assessed based on criteria such as material use, energy consumption and indoor environment.

Mat 02 Responsible Sourcing of Materials
M1 Absence of environmental toxins (prerequisite)
The requirement covers the phasing out of hazardous substances on the Candidate List.

M2 EPD for construction products (1 credit)
The requirement is that there must be an environmental product declaration for the product.
