Transitioning from Vilma to GS1

The Swedish Builders’ Merchants Association is transitioning from its proprietary Vilma standard to GS1’s global standard for product information. What does this mean in practice?
The transition is being driven by increasing demands for digitalisation, sustainability, and regulatory compliance, as well as a growing need for structured and quality assured data in an international environment.
